XpeRience Science’s Vision
XpeRience Science wants to bring abstract scientific concepts to life for all ages and skill levels. The power of immersive technologies is the ability to experience science at various scales from the molecular to astronomical level. By bringing these concepts to life in 3-dimensional, fully interactive models and animations, we have an opportunity to cater to visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles at the same time. We are on the forefront of developing XR experiences to bolster the STEM pipeline and train for STEM careers.
Jared DeCoste, Ph.D.
Founder & President
Jared founded XpeRience Science in 2022. He has 17+ years of lab experience, resulting in more than 60 manuscripts and 6000 citations. His true passion is in education, training, and mentorship. He has always enjoyed creating unique STEM experiences for all levels. In 2021, he was involved in a first of its kind STEM outreach virtual reality project with ROAM and eCYBERMISSION. From there, development of virtual reality for outreach and training became a focus and XpeRience Science was born. Jared has been recognized through a number of prestigious awards including the Maryland Chemist of the Year, the Joseph Wienand STEM Excellence Award, and the US Army’s Civilian Service Award.
